Continuing the descent from Grand Col Ferret after lunch
It was hot and humid in the Alps. This dog, being no dummy,
saw the one small spot of snow in the entire area and rolled
and rested in it. Her owners were calling her to come, but she
looked perfectly contented where she was.
We stopped on the way down at another hut/refuge for a break.
There were several kids playing outside the hut.

We finished the hike in the village of La Fouly, then we were taken
by our van to the resort town of Champex, Switzerland where we
spent the night. This is a view of the valley where La Fouly is located
